1. When is the election?
The election for School Board District 4 is Tuesday, August 14, 2012. This is the election that counts for school board members. Unless a runoff is required, this election will be over August 14th and will not appear on the November ballot, SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE AUGUST 14th.
2. Who can vote for you on August 14, 2012.
All registered voters who live in District 4. The districts have been redrawn based on the 2010 census. There were some changes to District 4. You should have received during the last week of December 2011 a new voting card showing your school district.. If your card says District 4, you can vote for me. 3. Can all registered voters in District 4 vote for you?
Yes, the school board is non-partisan. That means all registered voters in District 4, regardless of whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent or have no party affiliation can vote for me in the School Board election on August 14th.
4. My child attends a school in District 4, so why aren’t you on my ballot?
Voting is based upon your residence. If you reside in District 4, you can vote for me. If you reside in another school district, you will vote for the member who represents the district where you reside even if you child attends a school in another district.
